With over 20 years of management, development and consulting experience at the senior management level for many leading international hotel brands and having developed as an entrepreneur, several successful fine dining brand; Stuart is considered an industry expert with acute EQ, technical insight and vision for emerging market lifestyle trends.
Stuart is the CEO of AfrHIC Event Company (AfrHIC), a full service event management company specializing in the engineering, marketing and complete production of meeting, conference and industry trade events in sub-Saharan Africa. As Advisory Board Chairman and sponsor of the Hotel Investment Conference Africa, AfrHIC provides administrative resources and international industry outreach.
Stuart has worked extensively throughout the United States, Caribbean, Eastern Europe and sub-Saharan Africa and has developed an intrinsic understanding of the value proposition of delivering the guest experience and best practice standards of the industry's leading brands. Stuart is an alumnus of Cornell University and is currently serving as a tourism advisor within the East African Community and the Southern African Development Community.
